Rehearsals

One of the unique aspects of the choir is that we have four different rehearsal locations throughout the county so as to serve as many areas of the country as possible. Rehearsals are held every other week at each location after school hours. The rehearsal schedule for each location can be found under the "Rehearsal Schedule" link.

Downey

Each location is rehearsed identically on different nights of the week and they come together and sing for performances. The children find this format both challenging and exciting, as it fosters a sense of unity and allows for the development of friendships across cultures and regions.

Glendale

Currently, the locations are as follows: Church on the Way in the Van Nuys/San Fernando Valley, First Baptist Church in Downey, Glendale Presbyterian Church in Glendale, and Sonrise Christian School in Covina.

Sonrise

Ultimately, 250 children will rehearse at each location. As support staff increases, membership will also increase until the final goal of 1000 children is achieved. Parents and other adults interested in becoming a part of the support team should call Peggy Richmond at (818) 242-8873 ext. 249.
