American Celebration of Music in FranceExperience a musical adventure of a lifetime! LA4C has been invited to sing at the American Celebration of Music in France for twelve days/ten nights from June 26 to July 7, 2010. This exciting tour will also have visits and performances in Belgium and the Netherlands. This means that not only will you be able to listen to the angelic voices of the choir members, but make many family memories that will truly last for a lifetime. It is a great opportunity to learn and see the amazing sights of those things that cannot be seen in our own backyard, let alone the United States. The choir members will have an opportunity to sing inside the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France along with other concerts in Brugges or Brussels in Belgium and Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. Furthermore, some other incredible sights include the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre all in France. Highlights in Brussels include the Grand Place and how incredible it is to see the vast diversity in one city. Finally, a few days in Amsterdam will allow you to see Den Haag, the nation's governmental center, Anne Frank's house, and lots of cheese in Alkmaar. Whether you've been there before, or this would be your first time, it is definitely an opportunity that you don't want to miss out on. Please consider this trip with your friends and family, and of course, your choir member. We need a minimum of 20 choir members going on the trip to do a proper mission's outreach to the other countries. Please email Peggy Richmond, the choir director, with any questions you might have or if you need additional information. |
